Meghan Markle sparked online buzz with an outfit she recently wore while out with Prince Harry. Many wondered why the Duchess of Sussex dressed so "inappropriately."

In recent royal news, the Duchess of Sussex has been criticized for how she dressed while attending an industry event. Footage of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at the Jamaican premiere of "Bob Marley: One Love" showed them walking to their seats in the movie theatre.

For the event, Meghan adorned a chic black skirt that trailed to the floor and a black top with thin straps; she had her locks pulled back in a neat low bun. Prince Harry wore a classy navy suit and white dress shirt.

A media outlet reporting on the royal couple's appearance stated that Meghan and Prince Harry seemed "unimpressed" with the "cheap seats" they were escorted to to watch the film. Although the seats they were given became a topic of discussion for some, most comments about the duo's outing focused on Meghan's attire.

In this regard, one person questioned, "Why does she always dress so inappropriately?" while another pondered, "A skin-baring ballgown to a movie theater???" A third social media user referencing Meghan's outfit choice mentioned, "She's very overdressed for [the] occasion. [You] can tell no one is advising her 😂🤣."

Although there were many people criticizing what the Duchess wore, others complimented her and expressed their love for her and Prince Harry. One fan praised, "Glorious!!!!!!!!!" while another gushed, "Love Meghan & Harry ❤️❤️❤️." Someone else mentioned, "The [most] Powerful couple in the whole world. The media [is] always checking on them, for they have it ALL."

The recent trip to the island is not Prince Harry's first visit to Jamaica. In 2012, he attended a lunch with the region's former Prime Minister, Portia Simpson Miller, went to the educational center, and raced for fun with Usain Bolt.

Additional footage from the video showing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the movie premiere depicted them posing with other celebrities. According to the source, they also mingled with the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness.

As previously reported on January 24:

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently stepped out to attend the "Bob Marley: One Love" red carpet premiere in Jamaica. The two dressed up for the event, with Harry wearing a casual navy blue suit.

Meghan donned a black spaghetti strap top and black skirt, which she paired with gold earrings. She also fixed her hair, neatly partitioned in the middle, to a low bun. Fans and social media users who saw glimpses of the two on social media couldn't help but share their thoughts.

"What happened to her face?" questioned a social media user. "I spot face lift or something (sic)," a second person said. Meanwhile, another noticed that Meghan looked "strange."

Some Instagram users compared Meghan and Harry to wax figures. "Why do they look like their wax sculptures of themselves?" one asked, with another concurring, "I thought these were wax figures."

Meanwhile, other onlookers thought Meghan had gone under the knife, writing, "She had her face done again" and "Someone used too many fillers."

However, there were also others who complimented the royals. "Beautiful couple," an Instagram user quipped. "They looked GOOD!" another echoed, while a third agreed, "They are gorgeous."

The royal couple previously visited Jamaica in 2017 to attend a wedding. At that time, they were yet to be engaged. Harry, then 27, also went to Jamaica in 2012 and famously danced to Marley's songs in Kingston after joining the country's Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller for lunch.

"Her Majesty has asked me to extend her great good wishes to you all and is sorry that she can't be here, so you are stuck with me. But don't worry, because 'Every Little Thing is Gonna be All Right,'" he quipped at that time.

In recent years, Prince Harry has focused on caring for his family privately and rarely appeared in public with his kids. However, his daughter, Lilibet, was spotted at the US Independence Day Parade looking much like her late grandmother, Princess Diana.
