A young woman met a man on a dating app, and they hit it off instantly. She thought he was everything she wanted, but later found out he would be one of the most terrifying people she would encounter.

In the day and age of online dating, people have many exciting yet peculiar experiences with the people they interact with, and this TikToker had a Tinder date that ended up becoming her biggest nightmare.

The TikToker with the username @brittanyyydillard explained that she had just finished college and moved to a new town after ending one of her long-time relationships. So, as she started a fresh slate, she was also ready to return to the dating scene.

She set up a Tinder account, and things were going great. Brittany was going on several dates until she met one guy whom she named Henry. The two had an instant connection and on paper, Henry ticked all her boxes. He was tall, handsome, and financially stable.

One night, Brittany and her friends were out, and she thought of inviting Henry to join them, which he did. The TikToker was having fun with her date, so much so that she let her friends leave and planned to take an Uber home.

However, Henry offered to take her home since he had not been drinking. Brittany agreed, but she noticed the man speed past where she lived. Immediately, the woman knew something was not right and started panicking when she realized there were 15 exits north of her house.

She texted the friends she was out with, but no one was responding since it was really late. Brittany then asked Henry to take her home, but he offered to take them to his house. Again, the TikToker emphasized that he take her home or she would call 911.

Henry got angry but agreed to take her home. Brittany felt much calmer and did not plan on calling him back. As soon as she got home, she blocked his number and social media, but Henry never forgot where she lived.

Months later, Brittany hosted a birthday party for one of her best friends. The night went great, but as she was cleaning up and about to take out the trash, she saw Henry speed into her driveway.

Brittany ran back into the house, but Henry held the door open before she could close it and went inside. The TikToker threatened to scream and told the man that her friends and roommates were in the house.

Henry proceeded to grab her and tried to kiss her, but the woman refused and started to call out for her roommates. As her friends came out of their rooms, the man bolted out the door. Brittany's friends were concerned and asked if she wanted to call the police.

However, she decided she did not want to make the situation worse. Although the TikToker did not hear from Henry again, she noticed him almost everywhere she went. When she attended a concert, she would see him standing right behind her; he would drive past where she worked and lived, and at every bar or restaurant she was at, Brittany would see this man walk in.

It was unusual for them to bump into each other so often because Henry lived in a different town. But a few months later, Brittany met her husband and fell in love. She moved to another city and never heard or saw Henry again. But that Tinder experience has been a haunting memory ever since.

People in the comment section were shocked at the story and wondered why Brittany never got a restraining order against the man, while another added, "15 exits is way too far from home 🥴 I'd be shook.(sic)"

One of the other commenters advised her not to let her guard down as one of their stalkers found them in another state 17 years later, and having seen the potential for things to go horribly wrong right from the start, someone else wrote, "The minute you started saying he offered to drive you home I screamed 'NO' ugh omg girl."
