
Amazon Prime Video and FanDuel Launch Real-Time Betting Integration for NBA Streams
Amazon Prime Video has announced a new partnership with FanDuel that will bring real-time sports betting updates to NBA games streamed on the platform. The collaboration marks a major step in integrating live betting data into the viewing experience, allowing fans to track their wagers directly through Prime Video during the 2025 NBA season.

The companies revealed that bettors will be able to link their FanDuel accounts with their Prime Video profiles to see the progress of their bets as games unfold. The feature enables users to monitor parlays, check potential winnings, and follow real-time outcomes, though it does not permit wagers to be placed directly within Prime Video.
An additional feature, called OddsView, will provide live updates on odds, lines, moneylines, spreads, probabilities, and game props throughout NBA broadcasts. Amazon described the enhancement as an “immersive” experience designed to blend sports entertainment with personalized interactivity. OddsView will be available for all NBA games streamed on Prime Video this season.

Mike Raffensperger, president of sports at FanDuel, said the partnership represents a major advancement in connecting with basketball fans. “This is a significant milestone in how we connect with basketball fans,” Raffensperger stated.
As part of the collaboration, former Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin will join Prime Video’s NBA coverage as an analyst and serve as an ambassador for FanDuel’s basketball initiatives. Griffin will appear in FanDuel campaigns, on-air integrations, and social media and live event promotions.
Jay Marine, head of Prime Video U.S. and global sports and advertising, said the integration continues Amazon’s strategy of enhancing live sports with technology-driven features. “Since Day 1, we’ve challenged ourselves to invent features that heighten, customize and add storytelling elements for fans within the live sports experience,” Marine said in a statement. “As we tip off this long-term relationship with the NBA, we’re excited to launch a best-in-class bet tracking experience with FanDuel, as well as a wide-ranging suite of broadcast innovations to enhance Prime Video’s comprehensive NBA offerings.”
The initiative builds on Amazon’s growing presence in sports broadcasting. Prime Video already holds exclusive rights to the NFL’s “Thursday Night Football,” where it has introduced interactive and AI-driven features similar to those planned for the NBA coverage.

The FanDuel integration will also extend to the WNBA beginning next season. Amazon recently secured rights as one of the NBA’s national broadcast partners through an 11-year media deal reportedly valued at about $77 billion, alongside Disney’s ESPN and Comcast’s NBCUniversal. The 2025 NBA season officially begins on October 21. In addition to national games, Amazon’s Prime Video platform will distribute regional broadcasts from the recently rebranded FanDuel Sports Networks, owned by Main Street Sports.
The collaboration reflects a broader trend of convergence between streaming, sports, and betting. As more consumers shift to digital platforms, broadcasters have begun integrating live betting data into telecasts. Mobile sports wagering, now legal in several U.S. states, has accelerated this shift, bringing betting content directly into the home viewing experience.
Amazon is not alone in pursuing this model. Ahead of the NFL season, ESPN launched a new direct-to-consumer streaming service that integrates its fantasy and betting platforms, including ESPN BET, for users in states with legalized wagering. Meanwhile, NBCUniversal recently signed a multi-year advertising partnership with DraftKings, embedding betting content across its sports portfolio.
With the FanDuel integration, Amazon aims to offer basketball fans a more interactive and data-rich experience — blending entertainment, analytics, and real-time betting in one platform as the new NBA season tips off.
